Peter Widmer has been a partner at FMP Fuhrer Marbach & Partner since 1988. His practice focuses on all areas of intellectual property, including litigation before all Swiss courts, such as the Swiss Federal Patent Court and the Swiss Federal Supreme Court. One of his two main areas of expertise lies in the IP aspects of M&A transactions. The other is trademark and patent litigation. In addition, Peter Widmer advises on all types of contracts, with a strong emphasis on IP-related matters, including licensing agreements, coexistence and delimitation agreements, and agreements concerning the creation and transfer of IP rights. Peter Widmer is the author of selected publications in the field of intellectual property.
